BACKGROUND

LEADERSHIP

Indie TV is led by Mark Rowland, working with colleagues and partners around the world. Mark's experience encompasses developing and producing network TV in the UK and US; founding and running an international TV distribution company;  negotiating format deals for global hits and participating in the successful sale of TV production, games and social media companies. He also provides strategic advice for investors, finance companies and multinational media owners, looking to  refresh their approach to the sector.

Recent media finance work includes advising on the sale of Raw Cut Television to Zinc Media Group and Flame Media to Abacus Media Rights. Also connecting the parties for the $125m securitisation of Syco's  global 'Got Talent' format.

 

Recent international production work includes advising on the successful launch of innovative Philippines public service format, 'Si Manoy Ang Ninong Ko'.

 

Mark is also Executive Director of C21 Media, the international publishing and events business that connects the entertainment industry and Chair of The  Rose d'Or Awards, defining the gold standard for excellence in International TV.
